Jump Jump!

Baseball: The Phillies hit 10 straight wins in dramatic fashion after Jayson Werth hit a walk-off three run dinger in the 13th...The Phillies newest pitcher Pedro Martinez threw four innings and 64 pitches in Clearwater...The Braves won their fifth in six games, toppling the Giants, 8-1...The Yankees are in sole possession of first after besting the Orioles, 6-4...The Red Sox fell to the Rangers, 4-2...And more bad news for Boston, they've placed Tim Wakefiled on the DL...After Monday's botched call, it's no surprise that Twins manager Ron Gardenhire wants instant replay rules to change, allowing managers to throw out a red flag like they do in football...It maybe shouldn't be a surprise either that Michael Cuddyer came through for the Twins with a RBI triple in the 10th that scored Joe Mauer and gave the Twins a 3-2 victory over the A's...Magglio Ordonez hit a grand slam helped lift the Tigers past the Mariners, 9-7...Meanwhile the Indians rallied in the ninth to surpass the Jays, 2-1 and give Cliff Lee his sixth victory of the season...Blue Jays GM J.P. Riccardi has set a July 28th deadline to trade Roy Halladay...The Angels completed a doubleheader sweep of the Royals, 10-2. The Angels won their first game, 8-5...All was not well during the Dodgers 12-3 rout of the Reds. Manny Ramirez was hit on the side of his left hand by a pitch from Homer Bailey. Ramirez was taken to the hospital where x-rays came back negative. Well thank goodness. You can go back to wearing your fake dreads...Former number 1 pick Matt Bush has been sentenced to six months in rehab after being arrested for drunken driving, vandalism and resisting arrest in June. So how long until we read his Beyond Belief book? Or his blog from prison ala Maurice Clarrett?

Basketball: Kobe Bryant is confidnet Lamar Odom will come back to LA...Carols Boozer would like to be traded to the Heat. And I would like to be on a beach inside on in my windowless office, but we don't all get what we want...The 76ers have signed first round draft pick Jrue Holiday...Rockets center Yao Ming had surgery to repair his broken foot.

Football: Roger Goodell and Michael Vick will meet soon. I hope there is a peeping Tom who tapes that. Maybe they can get the creep who video taped Erin Andrews in her hotel room...From Bills QB J.P. Losman is heading to the UFL. Oh now I'll definitely, well probably won't watch any UFL. But then again it's not because of J.P....Marc Anthony is now a part owner in the Dolphins.

Hockey: The Senators introduced Alex Kovalev and now hope to con Dany Heatley to comeback and not be miserable...The Oilers signed Denis Grebeshkov...The Lightning have traded Radim Vrbata to the Coyotes for Todd Fedoruk and David Hale.

Nascar: Jeff Gordon is promising the Allstate 400 will be better than last year. Putting remote controlled cars on the track and racing them for 400 miles would be more interesting than last year's Brickyard...Ok now I am officially bored of the Jeremy Mayfield controversy.
