Good News NJ Sports Fans

Starting July 26th you can take a train directly to the Meadowland Sports Complex! The new system, which will be in place for the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final championship soccer match, can be accessed from either Hoboken Terminal or Secaucus Junction. Off-peak, round trip tickets will cost $7.75 from New York and $5.75 from Hoboken. Not a bad price if I say so myself.

The train will run for every major event that takes place at either Giants Stadium or the Izod Center, including concert as well as sporting events.

I am just glad that I will no longer have to wait on a line that stretches around the building at Secaucus for a bus. Or stand in a mob outside of Giants Stadium to get on a bus back to Secaucus. Honestly, this is the best thing to come out of Xanadau, if that ever opens.
