In September 2007, Lafleur was entrusted by the court to make sure his son Mark, who has awaiting trail on assault charges, abide by the rules of his court-ordered curfew. But it was later discovered that on two separate occasions Guy had taken his son to a motel to rendezvous with his then 16 year old girlfriend. Didn’t have a conjugal trailer in the backyard? When asked if Mark had ever spent a night outside of the home, Guy answered no.
That’s some kind of family loyalty. I wonder if my parents would have been so kind.
Mark later plead guilty to various drug, driving and assault charges and was sentenced to 15 months house arrest. He also got 3 years of probation, in which the first six months he must spend 24 hours at home and the following six months he will have a curfew between 10 PM and 6 AM. Curfew? Isn’t this how this whole mess started?
Watch out Guy and Mark, because the popo are on your tail!
