The Twins have activated all-star catcher Joe Mauer from the DL on Friday. Mauer has suffered through a litany of set backs this offseason which included surgery to eliminate a kidney obstruction along with the lower back pain.
To make room for Joe, Minnesota sent right-hander Juan Morillo to Triple-A Rochester.
The Twins open up a three game series with the AL Central leading Kansas City Royals on Friday
