I spent another night watching the Phillies kick the Mets’ ass. I also went to the gym, but mostly I just watched the baseball game. Two new Phillies fan sightings last night included Chase’s Chicks (dressed in yellow with really great yellow visors) and the Wolf Pack (with you guessed it, wolf masks on). Apparently there is also a group called Utley’s Uglies, but I have yet to see them.
Tonight I’m off to Yankee Stadium to watch the Skanks take on the Orioles. It seems like just yesterday (ok like three weeks ago) that I saw Bobby Abreau and Corey Lidle in Phillies jerseys but tonight they’ll be in pin stripes, gross!

Braves Update:
The Braves faced an outstanding Pedro Astacio last night. He allowed only two hits (one by Jeff Francoeur and one by Adam LaRoche) in his first complete game in four years as the Braves fell to the Nationals 5-0. John Smoltz looks to help the Braves rebound tonight as they continue their series against the Nationals at 7:05 on FSN.
Games to .500: 8

NASCAR Update:
It’s practically official; Elliot Sadler will be in the #19 car for Michigan. Kasey Kahne alluded to his new teammate at an autograph session in Tennessee, saying he might be in the car as early as this weekend, but will be in the car in 2007. May I introduce you to the teen dream team (minus Scott Riggs of course, he’s like the fun uncle).
