NLCS Recap:
Philadelphia Phillies v. Los Angeles Dodgers
Cole Hamels was a bit shaky giving up two doubles in the first inning, one of which hit by Manny Ramirez, scored Andre Ethier, but Hamels was able to work out his jitters and kept the Dodgers to just one run over the remainder of his seven innings pitched while Chase Utley and Pat Burrell provided all the offense the Phillies needed in their 3-2 victory. The Phillies once again did all of their scoring in one inning, the sixth, and slugger Ryan Howard has still failed to get back into his September groove, but the formula seems to be working for them as they take an early 1-0 series lead.
