Forbes just released another inane list, this time focusing on the top celebrity earners under the age of 30 and somehow I didn't make the cut. Interestingly enough, of those who did, five came from the world of sports including the hottest free agent for 2010, Mr. LeBron James. James took in $40 million, which is probably 40 million more than Jordan Crawford has yet he was still able to dunk on him yesterday.
According to Forbes, Beyonce was the top earner, bringing in an estimated $85 million in 2008. A distant second was Formula One star Kimi Raikkonnen who scored $45 million in winnings, salary and sponsorships. Other athletes making the list were recent Wimbledon winner Roger Federer, whose $33 million should help take care of all those extra expenses that are associated with having a kid; football (soccer to us crazy Americans) star Ronaldinho ($30 million) and former Wimbledon winner Maria Sharapova ($22 million) who makes a hell of a lot of dough for those crazy Cannon commercials apparently. Only one question Maria, how much did Dolce make doing them?
Well Lenny Dykstra, if you need a lone, those are a couple of people you could turn to.
