College Basketball: Wayne Chism had 21 points in the second half as Tennessee rolled past Marquette, 80-68...Clemson stayed perfect with their 76-36 smashing of North Florida.

College Football: Joe Paterno got a 3 year extension to remain as head coach at Penn State. Let it be known, I do not want to be working when I'm 85. Football: Well wishes go out to Saints owner Tom Benson who is recovering from cancer surgery...Manning Bowl II - The Pro Bowl Edition...The Colts are hoping to get Bob Sanders and Joseph Addai back for Thursday's game...Michael Vick could be out of a federal prison and in a halfway house by January 20th.

Hockey: Alexander Ovechkin scored with less than 11 seconds remaining in OT to give the Capitals a 5-4 win over the Isles...The Blackhawks "humiliated" the Oilers, 9-2...The Flyers beat the Avalanche, 5-2, grabbing their fifth straight win...It's down to two teams for Mats Sundin. Well that was a nice little self imposed vacation.
