Bowling

Baseball: Greg Maddux will officially announce his retirement on Monday. It pains me to type this, but John Smoltz and Tom Glavine, the ball's in your court now...The Mets will be meeting with K-Rod, while the Yankees have hung out with Mark Teixeira and his agent...Rafael Furcal declined a multiyear offer by the Oakland A's...The Tigers have reportedly recieved catcher Gerald Laird from Texas for minor leaguer Guillermo Moscoso and a second unnamed prospect.
Basketball: The Celtics made it 12 in a row with their 122-117 overtime win over the Pacers...Apparently the best time to play the Piston's is on Sunday, as they moved to 0-5 on the resting day with their 104-92 loss to the Knicks...

College Basketball: #11 Louisvilled downed Ohio, 91-56...While #12 UCLA dominated Cal State Northridge, 85-67.

College Football: With their wins on Saturday, Florida and Oklahoma will be facing off against each other in the BCS National Title Game...Other bowls announced included the Fiesta Bowl where Texas will go up against Ohio State...The Rose Bowl which features USC and Penn State...The Sugar Bowl that brings together Alabama and Utah...Cincinnati and Virginia Tech square off for the Orange Bowl...And Texas Tech and Mississippi will rangle in the Cotton Bowl...For a complete list of bowl games click here.

Football: The Steelers scored 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter on their way to a 20-13 victory over the Cowboys...The Dallas loss, allowed the Giants, who fell to the Eagles 20-14, to clinch the NFC East...The Cardinals clinched the NFC West with a 34-10 bashing of the Cardinals. It's their first division title in 33 years...The Titans clinched the AFC South with 28-9 rout of the Browns...The Raven handled the Redskins 24-10...The Lions continue to suck, falling to the Vikings, 20-16. Hockey: The Flames shut out the Rangers, 3-0...The Blackhawks had their way with the Coyotes, scoring four goals in the first on their way to a 7-1 victory...The Avalanche edged the Canucks, 5-4 (SO)...Michael Leighton stopped 38 shot in the Hurricanes 3-1 win over the Capitals...The injury bug has bit Pittsburgh again. Tyler Kennedy will miss 4-6 weeks with a knee injury.
