Mike Bumgarner, the crew chief for the #5 car driven by Kyle Busch in the Busch Series was fined $2000 for a rules infraction discovered during opening day inspection at Bristol. (scenedaily.com)

Ameriquest has asked to back out of the final two years of its sponsorship agreement with Roush Fenway Racing and the #16 car driven by Greg Biffle. (scenedialy.com)

It seems Jessica and Jason from “Laguna Beach” were really meant for each other. While Jason was sentenced to a stint in the clink for assault, Jessica was arrested for DUI on the freeway near Laguna after rear-ending an Acura. Jessica was driving a 1999 VW Bug. Who are her parents and why haven’t they given her a BMW to drive? Watch out Jessica, because the popo are on your tail! (people.com)

We’re learning more about Kenny Chesney’s wild 39th birthday concert. Attendees included Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Gretchen Wilson, Kix Brooks of Brooks and Dunn, Big & Rich, Tracy Lawrence, Craig Wiseman, Shaun Silva and Jewel. During his set, friends like Sara Evans, Montgomery Gentry and Wilson joined Kenny on stage. Sounds like an amazing concert for the hundreds of lucky fans that got to attend. (cmt.com)
