Back from Dixie

I’m back from Texas. I can’t even explain how amazing Texas is. First of all, everyone has a pick-up truck. I’ve always wanted one, but thought it a smidge impractical in the NJ, but in Texas, it doesn’t matter, and I like that! I took a bunch of pictures of Minute Maid Park, but will be unable to post them until my computer is fixed.

NASCAR Update:
Food City 500 Recap:
The Car of Tomorrow is now the Car of Today, well actually the Car of Yesterday or maybe the Car of Sunday, I’m working on it. While people are scrambling to figure out the right name for the new Nextel Cup car, Kyle Busch was able to hold off a charging Jeff Burton to win the first COT race at Bristol on Sunday. The race was missing its usual excitement as teams struggled to get a handle on the new car. One thing is for sure, even though a Joe Gibbs Racing car did not take the checkers, both Denny Hamlin and lap leader Tony Stewart have got this car figured out. For a complete finishing order, click here.

Shout outs to Richard Childress Racing which had all three drivers, Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick and Clinton Bowyer, in the top 8.
