The International Tennis Federation has appealed a ruling by an independent tribunal that cleared tennis player Richard Gasquet in July. The ITF is lobbying the Court of Arbitration for Sport to overturn the tribunal who believed Gasquet’s claim that he had tested positive for cocaine after a heavy make out session with a woman in a Miami club. The ruling ended his two and half month ban.
Looks like Gasquet will have to figure out something else to do with his time over the next two years because professional tennis will not be an option.
