Check back later for a complete wrap up...Dan Uggla and Cody Ross hit back-to-back homeruns off of Cubs closer Kevin Gregg to stun the Cubs, 3-2...Newly acquired Freddy Sanchez had two hits in his Giants debut as the Giants went on to top the Phillies, 7-3...The Dodgers pounded the Braves, 9-1...Chad Billingsley had to leave the game early with a cramp in his right hamstring...Melky Cabrera completed the first cycle since 1995 for the Yankees as they avoided a sweep by the White Sox, 8-5...With the win, the Bombers were able to keep a 1/2 lead over the Red Sox despite Boston out slugging the Orioles, 18-10...For the third time in four games, the Orioles benched third baseman Melvin Mora. Needless to say, he was not too happy about it...The Red Sox have fired two staffers after a steriod investigation...Carl Pavano allowed just one run in eight innings as the Indians stomped the Tigers, 11-1...James Shields no-hit the Royals through seven innings, but Kansas City was able to rally to a 4-1 win...The Royals have designated Sidney Ponson for assignment. They plan to bring up Kyle Davies from Triple-A Omaha...D'Backs pitcher Brandon Webb will undergo shoulder surgery...Meanwhile, the Brewers have placed Cory Hart on the DL after undergoing an appendectomy on Sunday...Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler was placed on the DL with a strained left hamstring.
