TV commentator and former Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin was in a very scary situation on Monday. Irvin was stopped at a red light in North Dallas when a car pulled up besides his and a man rolled down his window, prompting Irvin to do the same, however the driver’s original intent was most likely not the friendly conversation that ensued.
According to Irvin, the driver flashed a semiautomatic weapon, but failed to use it after his passenger recognized him. The two began discussing the Cowboys disappointing 9-7 season before the pair drove off.
Irvin says he was unhurt physically but that he was “glad [the driver] was a Cowboy fan.”
