Two assistant coaches in town for the American Football Coaches Association reportedly fell four stories out a window after wrestling inside a hotel room. Westminster College co-offensive coordinator Scott Coy is reportedly in critical condition after the incident while Westminster running backs coach Darren DeMeio was listed in fair condition at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
According to Nashville popo spokeswoman Kris Mumford:
“They wrestled each other too close to the window going through it and down to the ground floor. That's four floors."
But that wasn’t just any window, Opryland Hotel spokeswoman Kim Keelor said the windows were “double-paned glass with a strong wooden sash in the middle.” Apparently that is not strong enough to withstand the stupidity of two 20 something men. Well wishes go out to the coaches and hopefully they will learn from their mistake.
