Imagine my surprise when I found myself glued to the TV watching James Blake’s match against Donald Young in the first round of the US Open. (I blame the Olympics for my new love of Tennis) Oh, but baseball was never far from my mind thanks to Blake who appeared to be wearing a loose short sleeved top with the Mets NY symbol on his lower left sleeve to pay homage to the team that literally was playing across the subway platform at Shea Stadium. For his show of support, the Mets rocked the Astros, 9-1 with Mike Pelfrey going the distance for his second straight start. Coincidence, I hope so!
