Sean Avery’s well documented foray into fashion this summer will be made into a movie, a romantic comedy at that. The movie, produced by New Line Cinema, will mimic Avery’s summer transformation from professional hockey player into a Vogue intern. No word on whether Elisha Cuthbert will be cast as the romantic lead.

Now the real question is who should play Avery on the big screen?

Benjamin Mckenzie
Best known from his days as bad boy Ryan Atwood on The OC, the blonde haired actor easily embodies the everyday qualities of Avery and judging from his cage fight in Season 4, could handle the rigors of fighting on ice. My only concern with McKenzie is his ability to verbally abuse others on ice because on The OC he did a lot of staring off into space.

Joshua Jackson
You may call him Pacey, but I like to refer to him as Charlie Conway, captain of the Mighty Ducks. Add on those days from Dawson's Creek where he was sweet and charming and include his recent fashion renaissance thanks to gal pal Diane Kruger and we might have the perfect Avery… if you don’t add in the fact that they look nothing a like.

He played Sydney Bristow's friend on Alias and a cooking lothario in Kitchen Confidential. But it’s his boyish good looks and that catch football scene in Wedding Crashers that would make him perfect for the part.
