December 19, 2006

I’m sorry it’s late and short again, but I’ve been super busy and it’s not going to get any better with Christmas on the horizon. Speaking of Christmas, I started making cookies. I made the dough last night and put it in the freezer, tonight I bake and tomorrow I frost. These people better appreciate all the work that goes into making super cute sugar cookies!

NASCAR Update:
Jeff Gordon is really on cloud nine, he gets engaged and then marries model Ingrid Vandebosch, then they announce they’re expecting, and now his children’s hospital opens in Charlotte, NC. I guess he’s ok with losing the Championship to Jimmie Johnson.

Giants Update:
Pro Bowl defensive end, Michael Straham may play on Sunday in the biggest game of the Giant’s season against the New Orleans Saints. The Giants must win the remaining two games and hope for everything to fall into place to make the playoffs this season.

It may not be Cooperstown, but the Cincinnati Reds are creating an exhibit in their Hall of Fame to honor Pete Rose. I’m pretty sure my brother will be there the day it opens.

Don’t worry about LaDainian Thomlinson, he says he’s fine after receiving a pop to his jaw during the Chargers games against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Terrell Owens was fined $35,000 by the NFL after he spit on DeAngelo Hall during the Cowboys win over the Falcons on Saturday.

A zoo in Switzerland is being overrun by snakes after an anaconda gave birth to 40 babies. Guess where I’ll be skipping on my next trip to Switzerland. (AFP)

Popo in my crib News:
Steven Michael Evarts, who was drafted by the Atlanta Braves, was arrested when he was caught using a baseball bat to damage a vehicle. He was arrested and released on $2000 bail. Like we really needed another crazy pitcher! Watch out Steven, because the popo are on your tail!

Eloise D. Reeves, 50 was arrested after complaining to cops that she had bought some bad crack. She was charged with possession of cocaine. See, and just when you think “Cops” is staged, this happens. Watch out Eloise, because the popo are on your tail!
