December 12, 2006

Last night I attempted to watch the Lifetime movie “A Christmas Wedding” starring Sarah Paulson (Studio 60), Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty) and Dean Cain (Lois & Clark). Painful is not the right word. You know when you watch a movie, you’re supposed to have empathy for the characters…well I didn’t. Actually, that’s not true, I felt bad for Mabius’ character who was forced into full bride position when his fiancée, Paulson was stuck in Florida days before her wedding. You see the problem is that I felt that Paulson’s character was selfish and didn’t deserve a damn thing. Don’t worry, I can’t spoil it, because I cut out after an hour…it was too hard to watch, even for Lifetime standards.

The verdict is still out on where he’s going but both sides are hoping for a speedy resolution.

Devin Hester made history with his fifth and sixth punt returns for a touchdown in the Chicago Bears 42-27 slaughtering of the St. Louis Rams on Monday. Hester’s second quarter 94 yard punt return was bested by his 96 yard return in the fourth quarter.

H&M has been banned by City Council from opening a store on Paris’ famed Champ Elysees. The Council fears that lower class stores will out number the high priced stores lining the street. Once they opened the Disney Store on Fifth Avenue, it all went down hill, so I totally agree with the Council on this one!

What seems wrong with this…A new bill proposed by Texas lawmakers would make it legal for legally blind residents to use laser sights or lighted pointer instruments when they hunt. Currently, the legally blind can only hunt with the aid of a sighted person, a measure that would still be in effect even with the use of a laser or pointer instrument. I don’t even know where to start! (AP)

Popo in my crib News:
