I am telling you, Tennis player really know how to have fun in their free time. I mean if they are not making out with loose women high on cocaine in Miami they are purchasing the services of ladies on the street in Stockholm. Take for example two unnamed foreign tennis players who were detained by the Swedish popo for soliciting prostitutes while in town for the Swedish Open. Don’t tell me Richard Gasquet got in trouble again. The pair were stopped entering a hotel in Stockholm with a pair of ladies of the night or in this case ladies of the early morning.
It is unknown if either player has admitted to the charges, but Sweden does offer those person(s) suspected of a minor infraction to avoid trial by signing a confession. Hopefully they can read Swedish or otherwise they maybe locked in prison like Kate Beckinsale and Claire Danes in Brokedown Palace. (Which by the way was not the same Thai prison where the incarcerated make those fun YouTube videos. If it was, it may have made the movie slightly enjoyable instead of completely life sucking, although I think I am going off topic here.) The Swedes also have a quirky law pertaining to prostitution which only punishes the Johns and not the prostitutes themselves. If only Heidi Fleiss worked in Sweden.
The pair of unknowns (until the Smoking Gun/TMZ discovers their names in like 20 minutes and counting) will be allowed to play in the 32 player singles draw tournament while the investigation continues.
Watch out slutty tennis players, because the popo are on your tail!
