Basketball: Kevin Garnett returned to the Celtics lineup, but it wasn't enough as Boston fell to Houston, 96-90...If the replacement refs continue to blow calls, like the 3-point free throw call during Detroit's 113-104 victory over Milwaukee, maybe the NBA will be more willing to bring back the real refs...Allen Iverson will be out three weeks with a partially torn hamstring...The NBA wants to expand to Europe as some point in the future...In case you we wondering, the Mercury forced a game 5 of the WNBA finals with their 90-77 win over the Fever.

College Football: Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant was ruled ineligible by the NCAA for lying to the NCAA about a previous visit with Deion Sanders...Alabama linebacker Courtney Upshaw has been ordered to complete an anger management course to resolve a misdemeanor domestic violence and harassment charge.
