Baseball: It's now or never for Roy Halladay. The ace has informed the Blue Jays that either they trade him in the offseason or he'll enovke his no-trade clause...Also giving an ultimatium is catcher Joe Mauer who told the Twins he'd like to lock up a contract extension before the 2010 season starts...The Mets re-signed Alex Cora to a one year, $2 million deal...Which is about a million shy of the almost $3 million average Major League salary...Jason LaRue and his incredible facial hair have re-signed with the Cardinals...The Angels voted to give Nick Adenhart's estate a full playoff share...It is very clear from these stolen photos of Grady Sizemore that the outfielder takes fitness very seriously...Chip Caray will not return to TBS. It's funny, I didn't mind him broadcasting the Braves games, but the postseason stuff was not too good.
Basketball: Could Allen Iverson be going back to the 76ers?...And boy do they need him. Jason Terry's last second shot sent the Sixers to their seventh straight loss...Monta Ellis' career high 45 points helped lead the Warriors to the 126-107 pounding of the Pacers...Nets GM Kiki Vandeweghe will likely replace Lawrence Frank as the head coach of the still winless team...The NBA has fined Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler $7,500 each for in-game twittering or tweeting or whatever it's called.
College Basketball: Kansas remains #1...#5 Kentucky rolled over UNC Asheville, 94-57...Wes Johnson scored 19 points as Syracuse topped Colgate, 92-58 to reamin undefeated...Villanova freshman Mouphtaou Yarou will likely miss the remainder of the season for health reasons.
College Football: Charlie Weis is finally out as head coach of Notre Dame...And Bobby Bowden's days at Florida State have come to an end...Or have they...Florida's starting defensive end Carlos Dunlap picked a really crappy time to get a DUI, only five days from the Gators show down with Alabama. Watch out Carlos, because the popo are on your tail!

Football: There is just no beating the Saints at home as they cruised to the 38-17 defeat of the Patriots to move to 11-0...The Redskins have placed Jeremy Jarmon and Chris Cooley on IR...While the Giants have added Antonio Pierce to IR as well...Is Mark Sanchez's knee still bothering him?...Panthers middle linebacker Jon Beason was arrested on Monday after he allegedly punched a man at a strip club. When are people going to learn to stay away from the strip club. Nothing good comes from it. Watch out Jon, because the popo are on your tail!

Hockey: In stupid move news, Keith Ballard injured his goalie Tomas Vokoun accidently when he attempted to hit his stick on the post after Ilya Kovalchuk's awesome goal. Vokoun was taken to the hospital while the Panthers fell to the Thrashers, 4-3...Mike Rupp had a hat trick as the Penguins once again outmaneuvered the Rangers in the third period on their way to a 5-2 victory...The Capitals clipped the Hurricanes, 3-2, but it was the loss of Alexander Ovechkin that is the biggest news...Ryan Miller stopped 38 shots as the Sabres blanked the Maple Leafs, 3-0...Also conducting shut-outs were the Flames, who routed the Predators, 5-0...And the Avalanche who contained the Lightning, 3-0.
Best of the Rest: Is Marion Jones the next great hoops star?...Indianapolis will likely lose their ATP event...Joey Logano will be named Rookie of the Year...And this year's Cup champ, Jimmie Johnson has donated $1 million to schools in North Carolina, California and Oklahoma...Danica Patrick is staying in the IRL. Didn't we know this already?
